Covid-19 Safety Plan

COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN

At Kelly’s Barber and Beauty we take health seriously. As such, we have put in place a safety plan to ensure minimal risk of transmission of Covid-19 within our space.

Physical Distancing

  • The number of guests on-premises will be limited to ensure 6 ft social distancing. Only one guest per service provider is permitted.
  • Our waiting area has been transformed to a boutique. There will be no seating available for waiting inside the premises.
  • Guests will be served by appointment only. This means that if you do not specifically have an appointment, you will not be permitted to enter the premises. This includes children. For children under the age of 5 or those who are not able to complete a visit without direct supervision, only one adult will be permitted to attend the appointment with them.
  • In reminder emails sent prior to appointments, guests will be given a number to text to let our team know they have arrived. Guests will receive a text from a member of our team when they can enter the premises, as they may need to wait in a car or outside on the benches where applicable.
  • Guests will be greeted at the entrance
  • After entering, please maintain 6 ft distancing where possible throughout the premises.
  • Barriers have been put in place at the front desk to ensure adequate separation.
  • Stations have been staggered to be at least six feet apart where possible. In areas where this is not possible, plastic dividers have been placed to ensure adequate separation.

Screening Policy

  • For your safety, each staff member completes a covid screening questionnaire before coming to work. In the event that a staff member answers yes to any of the questions or has any symptoms of Covid-19, they will be required to self isolate until tested for Covid-19 and the test results are confirmed. If the test results are negative but the staff member remains ill and/or symptomatic, they will not return to work until 24 hours after symptoms have resolved.
  • Each guest is required by OPH to complete a health screening questionnaire before entering the premises. If you’ve had symptoms or have tested positive for Covid-19, you can reschedule your appointment after the following per the Ontario Health Guidelines:
        1. 3 days with no fever and
